Panthers quarterback Sam Danold will start

On Wednesday, US time, Panthers coach Matt Rhule said that quarterback Sam Darnold will replace Cam Newton in the starting lineup.

Danold suffered a shoulder injury in the ninth week of the game and was later added to the injury reserve list. Newton led the team to defeat in the last five games.

Lu said: “Sam has made a lot of effort to get back to his state. I think he also showed some good parts last week…. We will also give him the opportunity to show his ability later.”

Darnold and Newton played in the 32-6 loss to the Buccaneers. He completed 15 of 32 passes and advanced 190 yards. The Panthers have been determined to miss the playoffs, and Darnold is the only quarterback with a contract next season. Lu therefore wanted to give him a better evaluation.

“I hope he can play the performance of the first game: pass the ball in time and have a strong desire to attack.” Lu said, “I hope he plays more aggressively, cooperates with the system, and attacks aggressively.”

Texans lay off linebacker Zach Cunningham

On Wednesday, US time, Texans coach David Culley (David Culley) confirmed that the team has given up linebacker Zach Cunningham (Zach Cunningham).

Cunningham was suspended for one game last week for being late for the new crown test. This is the second time he has been punished for violating team rules this season.

Cali said: “We have our own standards, and he has not always met them. I think I made the best decision for the team. This is about the team, not the individual.”

Cunningham was a 2017 second-round pick and will renew his 4-year $58 million contract with the team in 2020. Cunningham has completed 67 tackles this season and forced a drop once. If a team chooses to claim Cunningham, the Texans can save $275,000 in salary space. At present, they have determined that what they need to bear is US$5.5 million this year and US$12.8 million in dead money next year.
